The Grange Sport Field – Consultation
In 2021, Earls Barton Parish Council held a consultation which demonstrated the community was in support of the application of a loan towards the development of sport and community facilities at The Grange Sports Field. To progress this application, we now need to hold a follow-up consultation.

In 2021, Earls Barton Parish Council carried out a public consultation regarding our plans to borrow £200,000.00 towards The Grange Sport and Community Development. The consultation process approved the plans for the loan and the development. As planning issues delayed the start date of the development, we didn’t apply for the loan immediately. We are now in a position to move forward with the development and, in order to apply for the loan, an updated consultation is required. We plan to apply for a loan of £200,000.00 from the Public Works Loan Board. Repayment of the loan will be covered by funds that have already been raised and held in earmarked reserves and from funds in our budget which are already allocated to the project. This means that there will be no increase in the parish council portion of your Council Tax due to this loan, and we would ask for your support by completing this simple consultation questionnaire.
